40 Years FFU
Since 1980 over 3 million FFU® synthetic wood sleepers fitted sustainably on more than 2.000 kilometres of railway track. Main areas of use are the highly stressed track sections such as switches and bridges.
The high technical parameters and the machinability like wood enable flexible use on the track. With a weight below that of wood and a durability of over 50 years according to the RTR Institute in Tokyo, FFU® synthetic sleepers are the permanent solution to the challenges in railway superstructures.
The Quiet Rail
The rail web noise shielding which has been tested by DB AG and BMVBS in 2012 and found to be the most effective technology for rail web noise damping/shielding in Germany with an average overall noise reduction of 3 dB.
