In order to keep improving the track infrastructure, Sekisui is working with various partners worldwide to further improve the track compared to conventional designs with the existing FFU synthetic wooden sleeper. For this purpose, 60 cm wide FFU sleepers with a height of 14 cm were installed in the frog areas together with the ÖBB. This further reduces stress in the frog area and reduces the need for maintenance.
