Since the installation location was a moving bridge, weight and longevity were the key factors when choosing railway sleepers. In order to reduce the initial cost for materials, SEKISUI performed strength calculation and offered sleepers with lower height compared with the existing lumbers. The target rail level was achieved by placing FFU height adjustment materials on the sleeper bottom area where in contact with the bridge girders.
